overview

Both the aesthetics and technology involved in digital image creation will be addressed in electronic imaging 1.
The central focus of the class is visual language development. We will study and explore the use of metaphor and the poetic image.

Using montage, personification, and narrative techniques we will learn about design processes and theory, learning how to learn, critical thinking and critical analysis. On the technological side we will examine and learn the Adobe Photoshop CS3 software program.
